1. Scope and who is responsible
This Privacy Policy explains how Seemotions (“Seemotions”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) processes personal information when you use seemotions.com, the Seemotions workspace, account features, AI generation tools, and related services (the “Service”). Seemotions is responsible for personal information it processes for its own purposes.
The Service combines Seemotions software with third-party hosting, authentication, storage, payment, AI model, and compute providers. Those providers may process data on our behalf or under their own terms where indicated below.
2. Personal information we collect
Account and profile information
We may collect your name or display name, email address, account identifiers, profile image, authentication method, preferences, account status, and related profile data.
Prompts, uploads, projects, and outputs
We process prompts, reference images or videos, project data, model selections, generation settings, generated outputs, and related metadata that you submit or create through the Service. These materials may contain personal information if you choose to include it.
Billing and transaction information
When paid features are used, we may process plan, credit, order, transaction, invoice, and payment-status information. Payment processors may collect payment credentials directly; Seemotions generally receives transaction identifiers and status information rather than full payment-card details.
Technical, usage, and security information
We may collect IP address, request and device information, browser and operating-system information, timestamps, pages or features used, generation and provider status, security events, error logs, and similar operational information needed to run and protect the Service.
Support and legal requests
If you contact us, report content, appeal an enforcement decision, or exercise a privacy right, we process the information you provide in that request and the information needed to investigate and respond.
3. How we use personal information
We use personal information as reasonably necessary to:
- create, authenticate, secure, and maintain your account;
- provide projects, storage, generation, editing, routing, and export features;
- process credits, billing, and transactions;
- route requests to the model or provider selected by you or the Service;
- detect abuse, enforce our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy, and protect users;
- debug failures, recover jobs, prevent duplicate charges, and improve reliability;
- respond to support, privacy, safety, and legal requests;
- comply with law and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the Service.
4. AI providers, prompts, uploads, and outputs
To provide generation features, the Service may send the prompt, reference media, settings, and other information required for a request to a third-party AI model or infrastructure provider. Which provider receives the data depends on the model you select and, where applicable, Seemotions routing and availability logic.
Third-party model providers may have their own data-retention, abuse-prevention, and acceptable-use rules. We aim to disclose material provider behavior in the product where relevant, and we require use of the Service to comply with both Seemotions policies and any stricter rules that apply to a selected provider.
Do not place highly sensitive personal information, passwords, financial credentials, government identifiers, or confidential information you are not authorized to process in prompts or uploads.
5. Google Sign-In data
If you choose Continue with Google, we may receive basic account information made available through Google authentication, such as your Google account identifier, email address, name, and profile picture. We use this information only to authenticate you, create or link your Seemotions account, display basic profile information, prevent abuse, and provide account-related functionality.
We do not use Google Sign-In profile data for advertising, sell it, or use it to train AI models. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, YouTube, or other Google content merely to let you sign in. If we later offer an optional Google-connected feature that requires additional scopes, we will explain that feature and request the additional permission separately.
Our use of information received from Google APIs is intended to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
6. Content moderation and safety processing
We may automatically analyze prompts, certain uploaded media, generation metadata, and provider safety responses to detect content prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy. These checks may be performed by Seemotions systems and specialist service providers.
We minimize safety records where practical. A safety event may record your account ID, request ID, model, policy category, enforcement action, timestamps, and a one-way hash or other limited fingerprint of the request instead of retaining prohibited prompt text in a separate safety log. The underlying project or generation data may still exist under the normal content-retention rules until deleted or otherwise removed.
Automated systems can make mistakes. Users may request review of an enforcement action through the Privacy & Safety Requests page.
7. When we share information
We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients:
- cloud hosting, database, authentication, storage, and infrastructure providers;
- AI model, inference, moderation, and compute providers needed to fulfill requests;
- payment processors and billing providers when paid features are used;
- security, fraud-prevention, logging, and support providers;
- professional advisers where reasonably necessary;
- authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to address serious abuse, fraud, security incidents, or threats to safety;
- a successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of the Service, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell your private prompts, uploads, generated media, or Google Sign-In profile data. Private project content is not published to a public gallery unless a feature clearly tells you it is public and you choose to make it public.
8. Retention and deletion
We retain account and project information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, maintain your account, satisfy legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce agreements. Content you keep in your projects may be retained while the project or account remains active unless you delete it or request deletion.
Logs, fraud-prevention records, backups, and safety records may have different limited retention periods. Deletion from active systems may not instantly remove information from encrypted backups or from third-party providers that are independently required or permitted to retain records. We will apply deletion requests subject to lawful retention obligations and technical constraints.

9. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access controls, server-side authorization, database row-level access controls, encrypted network transport where supported, rate limiting, secret isolation, and security logging. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized account access.
10. Cookies and local storage
Seemotions uses cookies and similar browser storage that are necessary for authentication, session refresh, security, and preferences such as theme. We do not currently rely on a cross-site advertising profile to provide the core Service. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technologies that require consent, we will provide the controls required by applicable law before using them where such consent is required.
11. Privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, receive a portable copy of information, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions and identity verification.
Submit a request through Privacy & Safety Requests. We will use the information in the request only to authenticate, evaluate, and respond to it.
12. Minors
The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where higher). Do not create an account or use the Service if you do not meet that requirement. Sexual content involving minors is prohibited without exception under our Acceptable Use Policy.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy as the Service, providers, laws, or data practices change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where required for material changes.
